Camping Rates and Policies
Tunnel Trail Campground has been serving the local community of Wilton, WI since 1972. Since day one, our family-run campground has taken great pride in the work we do, allowing people the ability to connect with nature in a fun and meaningful capacity. Whether you are looking to set up a tent, park your RV, or stay in a cabin, you can stay with us and enjoy the historic Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail and our collection of entertainment options. Our Campsite Rates
- $55 per night for RV and tent sites
- $50 per night for tent-only sites
- Two adults included in each site's nightly price
- Extra adult: $10 per night
- Maximum of four adults per RV/tent site
- Two children included in each site's nightly price
- Extra child: $1 per night
- Check-in time is 2:30pm for campsites
- Check-out time is 2:00pm for campsites
- Early check-in / late check-out fee: $15 (if available)
- Reservation deposits: $100 for two days and $150 for three night holiday weekends
Camping Cabins 1 and 4
Cabin 1 and Cabin 4 have room to sleep 4. They include: one queen bed, futon, table and chairs, microwave, mini-fridge, and fire pit.
- $110.00 per night.
- Maximum of 4 adults
- 2-night minimum stay. Three-night minimum on holiday weekends.
- Non-smoking, no pets, includes bed linens.
- A deposit of $200.00 is required at the time of reservation.
- Early check-in is $35 (if available).
Camping Cabin 5
Camping Cabins 2 and 3
Cabins 2 and 3 have room to sleep 6. They include: a queen bed, a set of twin bunk beds, futon, table and chairs, microwave, mini-fridge, and fire pit.
- $150.00 per night.
- Maximum of 6 adults
- 2-night minimum stay. Three-night minimum on holiday weekends.
- Non-smoking, no pets, includes bed linens.
- A deposit of $300.00 is required at the time of reservation.
- Early check-in is $35 (if available).
Cabin 5 has room to sleep 2. It includes: one queen bed, bar top with stools, microwave, mini-fridge, and firepit.
- $110.00 per night.
- Maximum of 2 adults
- 2-night minimum stay. Three-night minimum on holiday weekends.
- Non-smoking, no pets, includes bed linens.
- A deposit of $200.00 is required at the time of reservation.
- Early check-in is $35 (if available).
These fees include the use of the swimming pool, warm showers, picnic tables, fire pits, volleyball court, corn hole, basketball court, and playground!

Vehicles
- There is a two-vehicle maximum at every camping site.
Camping Group Size Limits
- There is a limit of one family per site (two adults and minor dependent children) or four adults.
Reservations
- Calling will give you the current status of site availability.
- Two-night minimum
- Three-night minimum on Holiday weekends
- Specific site requests will not be guaranteed, but we will try our best to accommodate them on the longest stay on a first deposit-paid basis. Deposit required with one week of phone reservation.
Reservation Cancellations
- NO CASH REFUNDS
- If a reservation is cancelled prior to 21 days before the date of check-in, a refund of the amount paid less a $15 administration fee will be issued.
- If a reservation is cancelled between 21 days and up to 72 hours before the date of check-in, a camping credit good for 1 year from the date of issuance will be applied to the guest's account less a $15 administration fee.
- If a reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of the date of check-in, the entire amount paid will be forfeited.
- Credit cards will be charged and deposits kept due to no-shows or same day cancellations.
- Camping is an outdoor experience, we do not charge you for sunshine and therefore will not provide refunds for inclement weather.
Pet Policy
If you plan on bringing your pet camping, please follow these rules:
- Pets are to be leashed at all times.
- Pets are not to be left alone.
- Pets are not allowed in any buildings.
- Pets are not allowed in the pool area.
- You must clean up after your pet.
- You need to keep them quiet, no barking or other animal noises.
Owners who are unable to follow these rules will be asked to leave the campground without a refund.
Firewood
Firewood is for sale at the office. Per Wisconsin DNR regulations, we cannot allow campers to bring firewood from home.

Swimming Pool
The pool hours are between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Read the posted rules at the pool entrance. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult. Children must wear swim diapers if not trained.
Garbage
Bags are available at the office upon request. A dumpster is available for non-recyclables.
Picnic Tables / Fire Pits
Each site will have one table and one fire pit. Please return tables to the respective site if you moved them before checking out.
Bicycle Rental
2-hour minimum, and all reserved bikes must be picked up by 9:00 AM. This bike rental service is only available to registered campers.
- Mountain Bikes, Hybrids $5.00/hr. $25.00/day
- Bike trailer $5.00/hr. $20.00/day
- Electric Assist Bike $45.00/half day $65.00/day
Children
Children should be supervised at all times. Parents should always accompany young children to the restrooms.
Liability
Tunnel Trail Campground is not responsible for loss due to fires, wind, theft, or accidents.
